Vitotrans, one of the fastest growing companies in Europe, according to the Financial Times.

The logistics operator Vitotrans has been included in the prestigious FT 1000: Europe's Fastest Growing Companies report, compiled by the Financial Times.

Vitotrans, the Spanish transport company leader in integrated logistics, with headquarters in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country), has been included in the prestigious FT 1000 - Europe's Fastest Growing Companies 2019 report, produced by the renowned British newspaper Financial Times on an annual basis.

The Financial Times has published the list of the 1,000 companies in Europe with the highest annual growth rate and includes Vitotrans in position 758 of the General Ranking, climbing positions to be the 27th company in the transport and logistics sector.

These positions translate into an average annual growth of 49.3% and an absolute revenue growth of 233%, during the three-year period 2014-2017.

What is the FT 1000?

It is a ranking of the 1,000 companies that have achieved the highest annual revenue growth rate. To be included in the FT 1000, the British economic publication has analysed the evolution of revenues between 2014 and 2017 of companies from 31 European countries, belonging to different economic sectors, and regardless of the year of foundation of the companies, which means that not only recently created companies enter this important list, but companies with long business trajectories can also appear. One of the fundamental requirements for inclusion in the FT 1000 report is a minimum revenue of €100,000 in 2014 and €1.5 million in 2017. In this way, the exponential growth of the companies can be seen.

This report has been compiled in collaboration with Statista, one of the leading providers of market data and economic and consumer information. The companies included in the FT 1000 are not the largest, but they are the ones that have experienced spectacular growth, according to the data in this ranking.

Vitotrans among the 100 fastest growing companies in Spain

Within the prestigious group of companies included in the FT 1000, few Spanish companies can boast of having experienced such significant economic evolution and growth in recent years (average annual growth of 49.3% and absolute revenue growth of 233%). Vitotrans is in this select group in position number 77, standing out as the 4th Spanish company in the transport and logistics sector, consolidating its position as one of the leading logistics operators in Spain.

These spectacular growth figures place the company specialising in transport and logistics as the only company from Alava to appear in the ranking, standing out on an autonomous level as the 2nd fastest growing Basque company in Europe.
